The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister, Presidents of Institutions, several members of the Government, diplomats accredited to the Republic of Mali and many other personalities, especially from the industrial and commercial sectors.
Economic impact: creation of 400 permanent jobs and 10,000 indirect jobs after this Inauguration
Located in Sanankoroba in the Koulikoro Region, is a limited company established on a seven-hectare site. It comprises six industrial production units, including an edible vegetable oil, cake and cattle feed production , a shea butter production , a soap production , and a plastic canister production unit. The SDA complex will create over 400 permanent jobs and more than 10,000 indirect jobs, for an investment USD 23 million of (14 billion F CFA). After cutting the symbolic ribbon for this major industry, the Head of State, HE Colonel Assimi GOÏTA, visited the SDA Agro-Industrial Complex facilities. Reactions to the event were overwhelmingly positive, with high expectations of the complex’s impact on food self-sufficiency and industrialization in Mali and during this momentous occasion,

Production diversity: from shea butter to edible vegetable oil
The SDA complex represents a major investment in the Malian economy costing about USD 23 million ( 14 billion F CFA) Founded by Mr. Seydou KEITA, a former international footballer, the Agro-Industrial Complex Seydou Diogo Awa (SDA). It’s the fruit of an ambitious vision to transform local resources into quality finished products, while creating added value for the national economy. The focus on the production of livestock feed and edible vegetable oil is particularly relevant for Mali, a country where agriculture plays a central role in the livelihood of its population. What’s more, the shea butter production unit is a nod to one of West Africa’s most emblematic products, known for its beneficial properties and potential on the international market.
Following the visit, the President of the Transition granted an interview to the press, in which he underlined the strategic importance of this industrial complex for the national economy. He also highlighted the many benefits the complex will bring to the rural Commune of Sanankoroba, including job creation, vocational training and stimulation of the local economy. He is also stressed the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors to ensure the success of this ambitious project. Above all, President GOÏTA expressed his gratitude to the complex’s promoter, Mr. Seydou KEITA, ex-captain of the Aigles du Mali, for this patriotic act, which he felt should inspire Malian youth.
