The exhibition is open to participation by the 57 member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), OIC institutions, and various public and private economic operators from Islamic countries. States with observer status within the OIC (Bosnia-Herzegovina, Central African Republic, Kingdom of Thailand, Russian Federation, Turkish State of Northern Cyprus), economic operators from Islamic communities in non-member countries, as well as guests of honor, may also take part.
The show offers African economic operators an exclusive climate in which to forge industrial, technical, economic, financial and commercial partnerships. Other benefits of this event include the sharing of experience and expertise in fields linked to the definition of the Halal label. These are products and services like any others, consumed and used every day. These include Halal food and beverages, Halal cosmetics and personal care. Islamic banking and finance, Halal textiles and fashion are also on the exhibition menu, as are Halal tourism and accommodation. There will also be B2B meetings with companies.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s Halal Expo aims to promote products and services linked to the Halal industry and enable decision-makers and experts to exchange experiences on the Halal industry. It also aims to develop partnerships and strategic alliances between Halal industry players in OIC member states, and to facilitate the dissemination of information on intra-OIC supply and demand for products and services related to the sectors covered by the show.
